Dear friends, in the middle of a particularly busy season (thanks for the many confirmations!) we want to tell you about one of our events, in particular the one with Mara and George, who celebrated with us Professionalweddingdj, at the Palace Rhaudense, an ancient monastery recently opened also for private events. First, the frame is certainly impressive: large cloisters, landscaped garden, interior rooms very spacious and elegant. All newly restored. MUSIC FOR THE WEDDING APERITIF: A LITTLE OF FRANCE
But back to the heart of the event: the music. Mara and George, who contacted us about a year ago, they wanted to characterize their wedding party with the theme “Paris“. This for personal reasons (the marriage proposal came just in Paris) and for the love of the music of our “cousins” beyond the Alps. Already from the aperitif, the characterization with this music was obvious: we made a very varied and brilliant selection, playing Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot, Zaz (Je veux). In any case, the appetizer was very long, and the couple asked to go towards something more rhythmic and modern: Gabin,”Une histoire d’amour”, was a success, and we have selected a lot of similar tracks, till the end of the aperitif.
MUSIC FOR DINNER OF MARRIAGE: SOFT AND CLASS
At this point all the guests enter in the room, for dinner (you can see the ‘”uplighting”, very nice!). The atmosphere is very festive: at the arrival of the couple, it’s time for the toast, which is referred to the photo below. During the evening, a background jazz and soul really classy and stylish, which you can find an example in the “chart” section of this site: a repertoire ranging from Norah Jones to Diana Krall and other classics.
CUTTING THE CAKE WITH MAROON FIVE
At about 11, comes the moment of the cutting of the cake. People moves from the dining room to the cloister, which has been set up to create a situation “by night” really unique, as you can see from the photo. The song selected to underline this important moment of the wedding receipt is Sugar, by Maroon Five: all the guests are ready to applaud, when Mara and George start to cut the “mountain” of whipped cream.
LET’S DANCE! MUSIC FOR THE WEDDING DJ, LIGHT AND SOUND SYSTEM AT THE TOP
The party, however, is not over yet, and we invite the guests, the bride and groom to get back inside the palace, where we set up another room dedicated to dance: it was a large room “empty” (from the capacity of over 400 people ), turned into a nightclub! LED lights throughout the room, and 2200W Yamaha hight quality sound system. We projected behind our deejay station, pictures of Paris by Night with Mara and Giorgio: it was a great success: it made even more exclusive and striking the wedding party, marked by great musical taste!. Very funny, the dance choreographed by the bride’s friends, for the launch of the bouquet, followed by the first dance of the spouses: Finley Quaye – Dice.
