To celebrate their most important day Antoinette and Stefano chose a wonderful location in Milan, one of the most beautiful in Italy: Palazzo Parigi, a 5-star grand-hotel with a style inspired by the French style of the 40’s, with precious marbles and XVII century paintings. As for the music, they chose ProfessionalWeddingDJ: our DJ service for classy weddings is a perfect match for this environment!
The wedding was held on the first floor; in the large hall, the area dedicated to the aperitif. To accompany the arrival of the couple, who walked through the majestic staircase of Palazzo Parigi (among the applause of the guests, roughly 130), we played The Ramones’ song Baby I Love You. The carefully selected music selection was made by the DJ and a saxophone player who were performing in the inner balcony. A dance with the groomsmen and bridesmaids soon followed.
After about an hour, it was time to enter the hall. Everything was ready, the audio system was tested over and over in the early afternoon, and lights were in the room; everything was carefully prepared as we always do. First all the guests entered, accompanied by a pop-swing repertoire; only the bride and the groom were missing, who selected a very unusual song for this day: “Old Thing Back” by Notorious BIG ft. Ja Rule. The groom is an old school hip hop fan. After the applause, it was time for dinner: a soft and refined selection (we played, among others, Mario Biondi and Michael Bublé) and a funny break by the bridesmaids and the bride who went to the dance floor danced “California Girls” By Katty Perry. What a better time to start a dance selection? From that point we continued with a very addictive and engaging DJ set.
For the cutting of the cake, however, we chose a great recent classic: Sam Smith’s romantic song Stay With Me
The evening went on with the launch of the bouquet with Beyoncé’s Single Ladies on the background, followed by some other famous hits.
And then, people dance all night with a sparkling dance selection, from 70’s to contemporary hits, without stopping!
