DJ for a Wedding Party at Castello di Casiglio

Patrizia and Pietro’s wedding (watch the video above) had Brazil as leitmotif, the country they are about to move to; the atmosphere, especially during the aperitif, was strongly influenced by Bossanova elements: to give a few examples, Nicola Conte, with Bossa for two, and great classics such as “Garota de Ipanema” and “Mas que nada” by Jorge Benjor.

For us at ProfessionalWeddingDJ, the aperitif is a very important moment of the wedding party, and for this reason we want it to be special: we pay special attention to the music selection and mixing, and to choose equipment that “sounds” well: for this reason we use a Pioneer console with a dedicated audio system, and not some cheap amplified speakers with an mp3 player connected to it, with a playlist already selected, as most (or rather … almost all) “all-inclusive” Djs specialized in elegant wedding parties do. For us, everything has to be perfect.

A full-optional set-up for a wedding at Castello di Casiglio

The wedding party, for about 40 guests, was held in three different areas of the Castello di Casiglio, and we installed three fully operational locations without having to move anything from one place to the other: apart from the aperitif area, we also had the Imperial Room for the lunch, and a third area next to the Castle’s swimming pool, for the final part of the wedding party.

When moved to the Imperial Hall, the couple was welcomed by the applause of the guests, who followed the rhythm of Barry White’s song “You Are The First, My Last, My Everything” which we were playing; although the number of guests was quite small, we managed to create a beautiful, fun and classy atmosphere: so don’t worry if your wedding party won’t have that many guests: we will know how to get the best out of it as we did with Patrizia and Pietro.

It’s the 80’s time!

After lunch followed another “Brazilian touch”, with an engaging break during sorbet, and a large moment dedicated to the 80s, as requested by the bride, groom and guests: in fact this was crucial to kick-start this wedding party! From Wham!, to Queen, Depeche Mode, Rick Astley, Madonna, the Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark‬ by Enola Gay etc…

Then we all went to the swimming pool, certainly a less formal activity, and more suitable for August: it was the hottest day of the year! After a few songs while waiting for the arrival of all the guests, it’s time for the ballad (“A Te” by Jovanotti) and then, let’s dance! For the occasion we played many recent songs that were really appreciated!
