The frame of the wedding party is the prestigious Westin Palace in Milan, in Piazza della Repubblica, and the protagonists of the event, Cinzia and Enrico. A top class reception, really chic and fun, which had as deejay and music planner ProfessionalWeddingDJ©, DJs for weddings specialized in exclusives parties, in Italy (not only in Milano!).
DIRECTOR AND MUSIC FOR THE CEREMONY
We at ProfessionalWeddingDJ© have also directed the civil ceremony, managing correctly the music in the “highlight” moments (entrance of the bride etc….).
The music theme chosen was the soundtrack “A Good Year” (a 2006 film directed by Ridley Scott, with Russell Crowe) particularly suitable to the situation. The direction for the ceremony is a service that we are providing more and more frequently, and with great satisfaction: the strictness and the precision in these solemn moments, are very important! You can’t go wrong. And there is no better satisfaction compliments of the bride at the end…
AND THEN, TO THE APERITIF OF THE WEDDING
After the cerimony, guests moved to the main room of the Westin Palace in Milan, and we are ready to welcome the people with a very refined sound for the appetizer. Accomplice to the excellent taste of the bride, we have ranged from Frank Sinatra (in particular,”I’ve got you under my skin“, with Bono Vox), Nina Simone (My baby just cares for me) and I’m Wishing on a Star of Rose Royce.
AT DINNER BACKGROUND SOFT AND SOUL MUSIC; MOZART FOR THE CAKE
During the dinner, background Soft and Classy: a “carpet” musical based Norah Jones, Dusty Springfield (“The look of love”), Dinah Washington (“What a difference a day makes”), Mario Biondi, and so many other (read in this site the article in which we talk about the background music for the wedding). There have been also Nina Zilli and Malika Ayane. Our recipe is effective: classy music, high-quality sound, the appropriate volume, which is not to force the guests to raise their voices, and spread evenly in the room. Then, it’s time for the cutting of the cake: the bride, thanks to her passion for classical music, chose a Mozart theme!
FIRST DANCE OF SPOUSES: A TIME TO FILM. AND THEN ALL ON THE STAGE!
After the cake, here’s the romantic moment: the first dance, really special. The song they chose, already knew (we talked about it here), is a piece of the soundtrack of “Notting Hill”, but not in this version of Aznavour, historical voice of France. Then, another classic tune, by Frank Sinatra. Both songs have had a large participation of all the couples present at the reception.
But now it’s time to go with a dance repertoire that touched various genres, focusing a lot, in this case, on 70’s and ’80s. For this wedding party, elegant and refined, we have installed blue LED lighting, which has been very successful. You can see the effect in the picture below. Thanks Cinzia and Enrico, really delicious and with a great musical culture, and thanks to all the wonderful guests who have helped us to make special this event.
