DESTINATION WEDDING IN ITALY, COMO LAKE: DJ SET AND UPLIGHTING

Grand Hotel Imperiale: take a look to this international wedding!

Here is the official video of the Wedding Party!

Jasmine and Victor are the protagonists of the Swedish international wedding that we have made in a location where we have already worked in the past: the Grand Hotel Imperiale.  But, before arriving at the time of the dancing party in the main room (you can see the video above), let’s proceed in order and start from the ceremony. Here is the story of the long wedding day!

CIVIL CEREMONY AT GRAND HOTEL IMPERIALE COMO

The long day dedicated to the event started with the civil ceremony, which took place in the Hotel annex: it is called Imperialino, an elegant restaurant, about 50 meters from the main building. As you can see from the video, it is an “open” location with a large garden overlooking the lake. Indeed, almost … in the lake, so close to the water. We have created a specific autonomous DJ station for this moment, taking care of both the amplification of the celebrant and the direction, to accompany all moments of the ceremony (to tell the truth, even before the first guests arrived, to welcome them in the best way, with a jazz background). Among other things, to enrich the function, there was the intervention of a friend of the bride who performed a truly exciting song.

Later, the aperitif, which took place in the same area. The music, however, has changed: from a soft jazz selection, we moved on to a bit of more rhythmic lounge music (many of the guests were young and they really appreciated this type of selection) and in the second part, a special swing moment.

MUSIC AND LIGHTS AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL IN COMO

After the aperitif, the wedding party moves to the upper terrace of the Sala Monzani: truly enchanting. Also in this case we at ProfessionalWeddingDJ have given our contribution to the success of the event: we took care of the diffusion of music and in particular attention to the amplification of the microphones for the various speeches, a great classic in international weddings like that of Jasmine and Victor.

In the meantime, Mr Ricky began to go to the third music station, to turn on the sound system, in the hall in the Bellagio room (the main one), where we have already settled everything a couple of hours before the start of the reception. We are therefore awaiting the arrival of the spouses, to be emphasized with a very special song! When all the guests are in the room, we are ready to welcome the bride and groom and then, after having “warmed up” the crowd with rhythmic but not too aggressive music, here is the slow moment (the newlyweds, therefore, have decided not to dance it immediately: decision that however proved to be successful). The couple chose a great classic, which you don’t often hear as the bride and groom’s first dance: “Cant Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli, in the original version, which was then reworked in 1982 by Boys Town Gang, in a dance key.

And then … after the romantic moment the evening becomes really hot! A “early 2000” Hip-Hop beginning (in the video you can listen to Beyonce with Crazy in love and Jennifer Lopez with Jenny from the block) and then a little revival, focusing especially on Abba, considered milestones in the countries of northern Europe, including Sweden, without forgetting Ace of Base, a Swedish music group of europop and eurodance famous for “All that she wants”, a 1993 international hit). Then we moved on to the contemporary dance: most of the guests were in fact young (under 30); we played Avicii, Swedish House Mafia (One, Don’t you worry), Axwell, Ingrosso, Alesso, and in particular, Fisher’s I’m losing it, which we played at least twice.

And the big party continued late into the night! Jody and Mr. Ricky in the console!

Thanks to the spouses Jasmine and Victor and to all the guests! See you soon!
