Afrojack and Elettra Lamborgini’s wedding

A special event in Italy, on the Como lake. David Guetta is the wedding DJ

Exactly two years after the beginning of their story, the wedding of the year was celebrated on September 26. The many fans (3.8 million followers on Instagram for him and 6.3 million for her) couldn’t wait!  Before going into more on the wedding party, a brief presentation of the spouses:

Nick Van de Wall, (A.K.A. Afrojack, 33)  is a dutch DJ producer, of South American origins, who has many successful records to his credit, starting with Take Over Control, in 2010, with Eva Simons, passing through Give Me Everything, from 2011 (with Ne-Yo and Pitbull); we then mention Dynamite with Snoop Dogg, and finally, the last track, released a few days ago:

Wish You Were Here (feat. Brandyn Burnette)

Elettra Lamborghini, 26, grandson of the entrepreneur Ferruccio Lamborghini, founder of the Lamborghini car manufacturer, has to his credit the participation in various reality shows including Super Shore and MTV Riccanza, and a series of hits released in a couple of years : Pem Pem, Mala, Tócame, Fanfare (feat. Gué Pequeno), Musica and La isla (in duo with Giusy Ferreri).

After the necessary presentation, let’s go with the most “sparkling” wedding of recent years went.

Both the party and the ceremony were held at Villa Balbiano, on Como lake (here is one of our weddings on Como Lake). In the villa, overlooking the lake, was set up an American-style setting, thanks to the wedding planner Enzo Miccio contribution. We can only imagine how fantastic the night fireworks show was!

The guests were about 100 and, for safety, they took a Corona virus control test in the days before the wedding. But more than the ceremony, of which not much was leaked, it was the second part of the event that dominated. To animate the long party, behind the console, a very famous Afrojack’s friend: David Guetta (6 studio albums and 41 singles to his credit!) Who took care of the DJ set, obviously supported by Nick… when he wasn’t busy (for example … while he was at the altar 🙂

But what songs did David Guetta have played from his vast repertoire?

He will almost certainly not have forgotten his most engaging hits:

Play Hard (featuring Ne-Yo and Akon)

Who’s That Chick? (featuring Rihanna)

Mad Love (with Sean Paul feat. Becky G)

For sure, he won’t have played When Love Takes Over (featuring Kelly Rowland) which talks about … a love that ends. Definitely …. off target!

But David Guetta was not the only “backbone” of the party: the french DJ was helped by Giusy Ferreri, a friend of Elettra, with whom she performed during the party, interpreting their summer song “La Isla”. Well, let’s imagine that Giusy has continued in the performance during the evening, since she has several songs in her “arsenal” of party hits, very famous in Italy (but not abroad): we bet she will have sung Roma – Bangkok and Amore e Capoeira.
